Experience a Day to Remember!
For the last 85 years, the Cobbold family has owned the Glemham Hall Estate. Field Sports have always been a high priority on the estate and the development of the shoot and stalking is ongoing.
Driven Shooting
We can offer top quality driven shooting on a traditional 3000-acre estate, coupled with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Presentation of sporting birds is the number one concern; this is achieved by strategically-sited game cover and the sympathetic management of woodlands and surrounding farmland. Glemham is a friendly shoot and the keepers, pickers-up and beaters are a jovial bunch.
During or after a shoot, enjoy a delicious shoot lunch in the Hall's magnificent dining room, which will usually be hosted by Philip and Raewyn Hope-Cobbold who will entertain you in their own unique style.
Deer Stalking
We offer accompanied ground or high seat stalking for Fallow, Muntjac or Red Deer on either a dawn/morning or afternoon/dusk stalk over some 350 acres of woodland.
Glemham has one fulltime Head Gamekeeper, Pat Gilbert assisted by Keith Thompson. The professional stalker is Will Carter. For further information, please contact Major Philip Hope-Cobbold on 01728 748289 or email estate@glemhamhall.co.uk
