We’re cooking up a Sunday Roast!
Will you be joining us?
As part of the FolkEast festival programme, you can enjoy a delightfully engaging House Tour with the owner of Glemham Hall, Major Philip Hope-Cobbold, followed by a delicious two course Sunday Roast served in our Dining Room. (muddy boots are welcome!)
Sunday 18th August
Tour 12noon, Lunch 1:30pm
£40.00 per person
Bookings close on Saturday 17th August
You will be guided around the majority of the Hall, from the depths of the cellars, right up to the largely untouched servant quarters in the attics, whilst learning about its vast history and stunning architecture, where elements of the Elizabethan era can still be seen. Philip will provide an engaging talk covering art, historical events, previous occupants and what it was like to grow up on a country estate. He is a wonderful host with a dry sense of humour, which encourages many a tall tale!
**Please be advised the Hall features many stairs and so may not be suitable for those who require easy accessibility.
Served in our Dining Room, we can seat up to 36 guests for an intimate and exclusive lunch. Naturally, you will be able to enjoy a vegan/vegetarian option if desired. If you have any specific dietary requirements, please let us know in advance.
