Yesterday the news the whole country has been waiting for finally came, HRH Prince Harry and the beautiful Meghan Markle are engaged! If we weren't all so wonderfully British, we'd be dancing in the street! But all jokes aside, it's the joyous news the world can really do with right now.
All we know so far is that the couple are due to wed in Spring 2018, (here's hoping for a national holiday *crosses fingers*) so there isn't long to wait until we all get a glimpse of 'the' dress! The trends we're seeing for next year are full of botanicals and florals and those continued industrial vibes, plus some opulence coming from fabrics such as velvet. But will the (arguably) most controversial royal follow the trends of today and buck tradition? Quite frankly, whatever they decide to do, we cannot wait. What is abundantly clear of dear Miss Markle and Prince Harry is that their relationship is built on a deep love and respect for each other; what more could this country want for its beloved Prince?
So ladies, dry those tears at the sight of another Prince coming off the market, and get ready to celebrate what is bound to be another fabulous Royal Wedding! I'll start dusting off my hat...
